The other pic of Shakti was real lame.. Too blurry, and the horse didnt seem to fit the pic- overall I wasnt happy with it.
this new one, I like but im thinking on it. I had my first go at properly smudging the tail etc. Made a shadow I added sand being kicked up and added a mane off a different picture I didnt think I could actually do that, considering the mane I wanted did not fit on Shakti- but with a bit of cutting, penciling, blurring and smudging- it fit in nicely- or so i think.
Im asking for your opinions, on what you think Maybe its a bit too dark? I dont know.. Please leave some feedback ^^
Only thing I see is the cutting on the shoulder is a little pointy... other then that I like it... expecially for your second pic ever. Ummm other thing I would add (c)Skrappi in text and put it on the horse and faded in, this way people can not cut up your image or steal it. It's a nasty thing to have to do but it's better then having people steal your work.
the photomanip doesn't look too bad at all! the horse could use some brighter highlights to go with the sand, or the sand should be a little darker to really fit together. you might think about adding single strands of hair to the blurred bits to make it pop more, like this tutorial shows [link] otherwise, the rest of the work is hard to comment on because the image is such a a small size, even in full view.
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.
